Your Questions, Answered
What defines the "JPS Experience" at Regions Tower?
JPS Events delivers a polished, seamless, and elevated wedding experience where every detail is managed by our professional in-house team.
As a family-owned business, we blend high-end metropolitan design with the warm, personal service only a dedicated team can provide.
What is your strategy for unpredictable Indianapolis weather?
We offer unparalleled indoor/outdoor flexibility, with the ability to pivot your ceremony between our 11,000 sq. ft. rooftop terrace and our stunning indoor ballroom in under 15 minutes. This allows us to offer a unique indoor/outdoor hybrid experience with seamless, fluid transitions, to ensure your day is never dictated by the weather and that your guests are always comfortable and having a great time.
Our indoor ballroom is designed as a "Plan A," featuring the same 360-degree panoramic skyline views and white marble elegance as the terrace, so your vision is never compromised.
Do I need to hire an outside wedding coordinator?
No; JPS provides built-in expert coordination led by our owner, Patti, who serves as your day-of coordinator to ensure consistent, high-quality execution.
We manage the timeline, ceremony execution, and vendor flow so you can fully enjoy your day without the stress of managing logistics.
Logistics / Venue Access
-
For a seated dinner, we can host anywhere from 50 up to 400 guests. If you’re planning more of a cocktail-style reception, we have a lot more flexibility—the terrace alone can hold about 1,000 people, and if we use the entire combined space, we can accommodate between 1,500 and 2,000 guests. Whether it's an intimate dinner or a massive party, we definitely have the room for it.
-
Basically, we bring the whole team to you so you don’t have to hunt down and manage a dozen different companies. Everyone you need is already under one roof: Allison is your main point of contact, Patti handles your day-of coordination and florals, and Cassidy takes care of the logistical planning and design. Then you’ve got Bill running the bar and Chef Yousef in the kitchen.
It all starts with that one big design meeting where we knock out almost everything in one afternoon. Because our team works together every day, the hand-off is seamless. Our goal is for you to actually show up and be a guest at your own wedding instead of the person in charge of managing a huge list of people.

We are in a great spot downtown, so there are plenty of options within just a few blocks. Your guests definitely won’t need to worry about Ubers for most of these.
Here are the ones we recommend most:
Hotel Indy – We actually partner with them, so this is our top pick. It's a great vibe and super close.
Hampton Inn – This one is right down the street and very convenient for guests.
Hilton Garden Inn – Basically right around the corner.
Sheraton Indianapolis City Centre – Just a quick walk away.
The Conrad – If you’re looking for a high-end, luxury feel, this is the spot.
Bottleworks Hotel – It’s about a 10–15 minute walk, but it’s easily one of the coolest hotels in the city.
JW Marriott – This one is a short drive away (about 5 minutes), but it’s a classic Indy staple with great views.
Since almost everything is so close, your guests will have no trouble getting back to their rooms safely once the night is over.

We’ll have greeters waiting in the lobby to meet your guests as soon as they walk in. They’ll point everyone toward the elevators and get them up to the right floor so nobody is wandering around the building trying to find the party. We make sure everyone knows exactly where they’re going the second they step inside.

We like to keep our pricing as transparent as possible because we know how quickly wedding math can get confusing. Our model is broken down into two main parts: the Room Rental and the Minimum Spend.
1. The Room Rental
This is the flat fee to secure the space for 6 hours (or 7 hours if you’re doing your ceremony on-site).
Saturday: $5,000
Friday or Sunday: $4,000
Monday – Thursday: $3,000
2. The Minimum Spend
Instead of just paying for a room, we use a minimum spending threshold. Think of this as the "floor" for your spending on the essentials—like catering, bar service, rentals, and staffing.
Saturdays: $21k – $26k (usually 130+ guests)
Fridays & Sundays: $17k (usually 90+ guests)
It is important to note that these thresholds aren't the total cost of your wedding. They are simply the minimum amount your selections need to hit to book the date. Your true final cost will be determined by your specific guest count and the premium packages you choose.
The JPS Advantage
One big thing that sets us apart is that we actually apply the 24% service charge toward your minimum spend. Most venues treat that as an extra fee on top of everything else, but here, it actually helps you reach your threshold. Since we handle so much in-house, our couples find it really easy to hit these minimums while getting way more value for their budget.

We have a parking garage attached right to the building, so your guests don't have to worry about walking through downtown. If anyone needs to leave their car overnight, they’re more than welcome to. It’s usually about $15 a day on the weekends, though that can change depending on if there’s a big event happening in the city.
Catering/BAr
-
Absolutely. We’re not the kind of place that forces you to pick from a basic "Option A" or "Option B" menu. Our chef is great at taking a specific idea and running with it. If you have a certain style of food in mind or even a favorite dish you want to recreate, we’ll work with you to make it happen. We want the food to represent your individual taste, not just standard wedding food.
-
We invite every couple to two different tastings throughout the year, where you’ll get to try essentially our entire menu. It’s a fun night—you’re welcome to bring your parents, your best friends, and even a bottle of wine if you’d like. You'll taste everything from the appetizers all the way through the main courses so you can be sure you love every single thing we’re serving on your big day.
-
Yes, we can. Our executive chef is Jordanian and is very familiar with a wide range of cultural food.
However, for weddings that require very specific ethnic cuisines—like for our Indian, Asian, or African couples—we do allow you to bring in an outside caterer to make sure everything is 100% authentic. Those are the only cases where we allow outside catering, but we’re happy to make the exception to make sure your traditions are honored properly.
-
Every guest with a dietary restriction will get their own unique alternative meal. This means you don’t have to change your dream menu or "play it safe" for everyone else. Since our catering is all in-house, we’re right there in the kitchen to handle things quickly and make sure the quality is great. We want every guest to feel taken care of, no matter what they can or can't eat.
-
Definitely. Our Bar Manager, Bill, will work with you to bring your favorite drink to life. He’s great at making sure your signature cocktail looks as good as it tastes. Whether you want a modern twist on a classic or something totally unique to your story, Bill makes sure every glass is poured exactly how you want it.
-
We charge for one bartender for every 125 guests. However, we absolutely hate long lines at the bar—it’s a total buzzkill for any party. If we see a line starting to form, we’ll throw extra bartenders on for free as needed. We’re more worried about your guests getting their drinks quickly than we are about the extra labor cost.
What Your Day Looks Like
-
You have access to your bridal suites literally the whole day. You can arrive as early as you want and come and go as much as you need to. They are your own personal little home base to leave your stuff or to just have a moment away from the party to take a breather. We’ll also have a concierge there to greet you the moment you arrive and wait on whatever you need while you're getting ready.
-
Yes, we are. We only host one wedding per day, so the entire space is yours for the day. It’s completely exclusive and private from the public, and we won’t have any other events going on during your wedding. You get the whole place to yourself and our full attention all day long.
-
YES!! Honestly, this is one of the highlights of the venue. You definitely won’t run out of backdrops here! One of the coolest things is that at certain points in the evening, the light reflects off the gold building next door to create a perfect "golden hour" glow that makes everyone look incredible. Plus, the sunset is visible from the terrace year-round, so those sunset shots are always a guarantee.
The best part is that you don’t even have to leave the venue if you don’t want to. From our terrace, you have stunning, unobstructed views of the Indiana War Memorial, the Monument, and the entire downtown skyline.
If you do want to venture out for a few minutes, we’re just a quick walk from Monument Circle, Mass Ave, and the War Memorial park. You basically have the very best of Indy right at your doorstep.
-
You’re more than welcome to bring in whatever food or drinks you like while you’re getting ready in the suites. Our concierge will be there to help you serve things, clear away trash, and make sure you have enough ice, plates, and cups.
The only thing we ask is that once the actual wedding starts, you hand over any remaining alcohol to us. We’ll keep it safe and give it back to you at the end of the night so we can make sure we’re following safe serving practices.
-
Think of our concierge as your personal assistant for the entire morning. When you walk in, they’ll already have the suites stocked with water, soda, coffee, champagne, and orange juice (and beer for the guys).
Beyond the drinks, they’re there for the "little emergencies"—like if a dress needs a quick stitch or someone needs a last-minute hem. They basically handle all the small details and needs so you can just relax and enjoy getting ready.
-
Not at all. We actually encourage you to leave your things (besides your personal valuables like your phone or keys) so you can just enjoy the rest of your night. Our team will gather everything up and help you pack it all, and then you can just come grab it on a different day that’s convenient for you.
There are no late fees for leaving things overnight, and we definitely don’t want your guests to have to worry about packing boxes. On the flip side, you’re also more than welcome to drop off your dress or other items earlier in the week. We’ll have them set up and ready for you when you arrive so you don’t have to haul a million things in on the morning of your wedding.
Floral/Decor
-
By utilizing our shared in-house floral team, you receive cutting-edge, lush designs—including premium bouquets, ceremony arrangements, and large-scale installations—at wholesale pricing. This all-in-one model guarantees total aesthetic synergy across your entire event and eliminates the stress of managing external vendors, as every detail from setup to teardown is handled by our unified, family-run team.
-
Definitely. We’re all about making your budget go further. Since our floral team and venue team are all under one roof, we’ll handle moving the arrangements from the ceremony to the reception for you. It’s a bit of a no-brainer—it saves you money and ensures you get the most out of your favorite pieces all night long.
-
We love the vibe that candles and sparks create, but we have to keep the building safe and our floors clean. Open flames are totally fine for your candles, we just make sure they always have a holder or a tray to catch any dripping wax so it doesn't get on the floor.
For things like cold sparks, they’re a huge hit on the rooftop and we actually offer them in-house at a lower rate than most outside vendors (just keep in mind they have to stay outside!). The only big "no" is stuff like glitter, confetti, or fake snow—they are nearly impossible to clean up. If you’ve got a specific idea in mind, just run it by us and we’ll usually find a way to make it work!
-
You’ll sit down right here at the venue for one design meeting with our lead designer, Cassidy, and her assistant, Maddie. In this meeting, you’ll pick out everything—colors, linens, chargers, glassware, and centerpieces. By the time you walk out, 95% of your wedding is basically designed and planned out.
Cassidy and Maddie are experts at color theory and tablescape design. They’ll take your exact vision and mix in fresh ideas of their own to make sure your wedding looks completely original and one-of-a-kind.
-
We offer flexible pricing based on project type and complexity. After an initial conversation, we’ll provide a transparent quote with no hidden costs.
-
Wholesale is our way of giving you an 'insider’s edge.' Because we are an all-in-one hospitality collective, we don't need to rely on the 300% retail markups that traditional standalone florists require to keep their doors open. We treat our floral department as a premium value driver for our couples rather than a profit center. This allows us to provide editorial, 'Pinterest-worthy' designs at our near-cost break-even rate—effectively saving you thousands while ensuring your vision is never compromised by a price tag.
